"Enjoyable"
This hotel is right in the middle of the CBD so it is inevitable that it is a little noisy (trams etc). We initially had a suite on the 5th floor and asked to be moved because of the noise. We were quickly and efficiently moved to the 9th floor and it was a lot quiieter. The staff were attentive and the service was quick. All in all a pleasent enjoyable stay.

"Great Hotel"
Stayed at this hotel for my anniversary. It was perfectly located in the middle of Melbourne. All the cities attractions are on your doorstep. The room was huge. Has been recently renovated so I we slept on a new mattress. I recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to see Melbourne CBD.

"Central location..great!"
We chose this hotel because of its location...right on Swanston street nestled with the shops and restaurants. Our room was extremely quiet even though of this prime location. One problem we encountered was a dirty bath that had a tide mark around it not left by us. After requesting housekeeping come to clean it, the cleaner rudely asked us what was wrong with it, and accused us of leaving it dirty! Just like to point out though that we had been out all day/evening and they had 'supposedly' been in to clean it. Anyway, she soon got the message and cleaned it so we could have a nice soak after much shopping forced upon me by my wife!!
Would definately stay here again and we're looking to book it again soon. Food here was very good and beer very cold which is rather important. Can't wait to return for more shopping and sighseeing, and even the taxi fares are not too bad when compared to UK prices. Most of Melbourne's sights/shops within minutes of here via your feet.
Oh, one other thing, we arrived in a car and we could not find the entrance at all to drop our luggage off. You need to access this hotel via small one way street that runs through Chinatown so you can then drop off your luggage before parking in a nearby building reccommended by the hotel.
