"Highly recommended"
My husband and I brought our 8 year old grandson to cisit our 21 y.o. son studying at Monash Uni in Oct 2003. Due to the World Rugby held then, we had to book in to two different hotels- one in the city near the Victorian Market and the Bayview-on-the-Park. The latter was most pleasant and relaxing, and we could park our hired car without having to pay a phenomenal sum or get dizzy climbing up to the uppermost parking floor.Highly recommended. Excellent value for money and during peak season too. Close enough to the city and near trams, etc. Almost like home....

A nice, very comfortable hotel. Only negative would be its location---a bit out of the way. Only spent one night there .

"very impressed!"
I was really impressed when we came and stayed at this hotel. I was not expecting such a grand place for the money we spent, especially grand final weekend.The room stank of ciggarettes though, but this was its only downfall. The bathroom was beautiful and it felt almost like a 5 star hotel room.
The food and bar downstairs are great and the concierge very helpful.
I would definetley stay here again when I go back to Melbourne |
